Stay was mind-blowing with SUPER location, cozy cottages, friendly atmosphere, veranda for relaxing, and well-equipped kitchen.

The breakfast is great, and the location is stunning close to walks, great restaurants and the river, and downtown. Its rooms are well laid out for a good stay on this visit anyway.

we had a wonderful stay at shades of arrowtown motel. we were warmly welcomed, had a change to a more affordable room, and enjoyed the convenient location at the end of the main street. the room was well-equipped with every facility we needed, including a spa bath, electric blanket, and great water pressure. the property exudes a charming cottage-y look and the hosts were lovely and accommodating.

This accommodation is conveniently located within walking distance to shops, cafes and restaurants. Rooms were clean with comfortable beds and good heating, perfect for chilly nights. The outdoor surroundings were delightful and pleasant. Tea and coffee making facilities and a toaster were provided. The friendly host went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and memorable. For those who love reading, a great library is located nearby.

The internet access voucher system was not user-friendly and a bit cumbersome.

So quiet and clean! the hotel was only a short walk from the town center but felt like a peaceful sanctuary. the room was beautifully renovated, with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. the bed was comfortable, the shower was great, and the towels were fluffy and soft. the host was friendly and helpful, even sending me my forgotten phone charger. We also loved the well-stocked kitchenette, perfect for a cozy night in.

The hotel didn't have the option to switch the bed from a queen to two singles, which was a bit disappointing. We would have preferred separate beds during our romantic escape.

Fantastic location at the end of the main street, easy to find and great for launching walks. Reception stays open until 7.45pm, perfect for late arrivals. Helpful staff moved me to a cheaper, smaller room with a change to the room rate. Every kind of facility in the room, beautiful cottage-like look to the motel.

Felt like family, nothing was too much trouble.

During our New Year stay, we were pleasantly surprised with the hotel's complementary breakfast and free parking. the location was excellent, just a short walk away from a bustling shopping district and several dining options. We also appreciated the beautiful natural surroundings and nearby recreational activities, like biking.

The staff could have been friendlier and more welcoming upon arrival. our accommodations were a bit cramped and not very spacious.
